Beth Larsen, Founder & Principal Consultant

I believe we need to take better care of the people carrying the mission.

I’ve spent most of my career in and alongside mission-driven organizations—as an executive director, finance and operations leader, board member, advisor, and consultant.

I know what it feels like to care deeply about a mission while spending each day responding to the most urgent thing in front of you. To have a strategic plan but little capacity to move it forward. To have financial reports but not the insight needed to make a decision. To add another system, spreadsheet, meeting, or person—only to create another disconnected piece for someone to manage.

Too often, capable and committed leaders carry more than they should because the infrastructure around them hasn’t kept pace with the work they’re being asked to lead.

That’s why Larsen Strategies exists.

Strong organizations aren’t built by asking good leaders to work harder. They’re built by creating the clarity, systems, resources, and organizational discipline that allow people to lead well.

Larsen Strategies helps mission-driven organizations bring strategy, finance, people, operations, data, and mission impact together as one integrated system.

Because a strategic priority has resource implications. A budget reflects organizational choices. A new process affects the people and systems around it. And data should help leaders make decisions—not simply give them more information to manage.

When these pieces are aligned, leaders gain clarity about what matters. Resources have purpose. Teams understand where they’re going. Decisions become more intentional. And leaders have space to move from constantly reacting to actually leading.

The Aligned Impact Model™

I developed the Aligned Impact Model™ after seeing the same challenge surface across organizations of different sizes, missions, and stages of growth.

The problem isn’t a lack of good people, ideas, or intentions. It’s that the pieces of the organization aren’t working together—and leaders rarely have the time or space to step back and bring them into alignment.

AIM™ is an integrated leadership system that helps organizations clarify their purpose, focus their priorities, align resources, build connected plans, establish meaningful management practices, and continuously learn and adapt.

Not as disconnected exercises. As one system.

I envision a vibrant and respected mission-driven sector where leaders have the infrastructure, support, and capacity to thrive.
